The room and bath were created from the original servant's cottage built around the turn of the century (we have to say 20th now). It has a country feel for that reason. Just a few steps from the back of the house, the cottage has its own rocking-chair porch and private entrance. The charming bedroom is 13' square, with a queen-sized Sheraton poster bed and a huge semi-antique Persian Sarouk rug. The bedroom has a fireplace, and its own bar sink and refrigerator. There are charming 19th century country pieces like the Sheraton school desk and folk art bookcase. The 15' × 13' bath has a two-person heart-shaped whirlpool tub and its own fireplace. The bedroom and bath have a collection of island paintings, as well as antique lithographs of American Indians. Weekdays, Rates from $210–$250.
